April 14th, 2011 14 people homeless after Wells Branch apartment fire

A two-alarm fire gutted a Wells Branch apartment building Wednesday. Fire investigators say the Arbors of Wells Branch apartments are at least 25 years old, therefore they are not required to have sprinkler systems and there were no spinklers in the building that caught fire.
